6.Filing Requirements for Recording Assignment of Application/Registration

1. Power of Attorney (Download), simply signed by the applicant£¬namely the assignee;

2. Form of Recording Assignment of Application/Registration, prepared by our firm and duly signed by both the assignor and the assignee;

3. Copy of the assignee's ID card or passport, if he or she is a natural person.

Notes:

For recordation of the assignment of registration or pending application, an application should be filed by both assignor and assignee. The assignee should proceed with the assignment procedures.

Chinese Trademark Office requires that a trademark registrant/applicant assign, at one time, all the identical or similar marks under its name in respect of identical or similar goods/services.

Upon approval, the Trademark Office will issue relevant certificates to the assignor and assignee.
